Description
This beast of a machine is holding 2 giant 10" silicon carbide wheels. One of which are 80 grit and the second of which are 220 grit. This thing will grind through rock like none other, and is a great one for shaping hard materials like agate and jasper. This is a great addition to any rock shop, and if we had the room, we'd be working with it for sure. It has a drain system, along with a bucket feed water system. This insures you are always using clean, grit and debre free water. This comes with the bucket that has been modified to work for this. The water uses gravity, so you just have to hang the bucket higher than the machine and turn the dripper on. These are great little machine, and well worth the value! Even an 8" cabbing unit can run more than $3000, and this is sporting 10" wheels! The 80 grit wheel does have a chip, but that can be cleaned up. It is also possible that someone could outfit this to 8" diamond wheels if they wanted to switch to diamond.
We do recommend wearing a respirator rated for silica dust when grinding stones.
