Starburst Rhyolite is one of the old stock gemmy mexican rhyolites! It often has a flower like pattern, and sometimes went by the name of Chrysanthemum Rhyolite due to resemblance to the flower. The old stock Starburst Rhyolite cuts fantastically, often perfectly solid with minor fracturing, and takes a pretty good polish for a rhyolite. With the flower like structures, it can work into some amazing cabochons!
