This stunning San Carlos shows bright red and orange well-defined moss that appears to run all the way through the stone. The bottom features neat botryoidal with a blue ice coating, giving the piece a striking finish. A display-grade chunk that should also cut nicely for cabochons.

San Carlos Agate is impressive moss agate from near San Carlos, Mexico. This is a somewhat newer discovery, with attractive rough just now hitting the market. So far, with our cutting, we've been greatly enjoying this stone, as it has some well-defined moss with attractive coloration creating beautiful patterns. It also appears it will take a nice polish.
