San Carlos Agate is impressive moss agate from near San Carlos, Mexico. This is a somewhat newer discovery, with attractive rough just now hitting the market. So far, with our cutting, we've been greatly enjoying this stone, as it has some well-defined moss with attractive coloration creating beautiful patterns. It also appears it will take a nice polish.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
The peach fortification + golden moss combination is unusual for San Carlos and gives this cutter two distinct visual zones. The fortification bands should produce well-defined cab patterns different from typical moss-only San Carlos.
