Rim Jasper and Bat Cave Agate are two forms of Agate and Jasper found near Prineville Oregon, which are often attached to each other. Rim Jasper is a creamy Jasper that often carves or cabs very easily, and Bat Cave Agate is a form of Moss Agate that can have nice colorations and patterns, that generally takes a beautiful mirror polish. Both forms were discovered by the Quant Family in Prineville Oregon, and dug by Shirts Quant and his son Bill Quant. It has long since been tapped out, with only the occasional chunk now being found at the locale.
