In winter 2021, a new deposit of coprolite was discovered at the Kaleidoscope Jasper Mines. This type of coprolite is believed to be rhino scat, though it's nearly impossible to know for certain at this time. It was a smaller fossil deposit that came to the surface, with only a few specimens collected. So far this coprolite has been well-silicated and quite similar to Utah Coprolite, typically caramel in color, and seems to cut nicely and take a decent polish.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
