Description
Polish Flint is a rare and exciting form of Orbicular Flint from Poland! It tends to have some ribbed wavy-like pattern along with giant egg orbs, which all come together to form some amazing pattern! It takes a good polish, and works into some unique cabochons. It is getting very hard to come by, and I was just informed that the mine this comes from has been permanently shut down, due to cultural artifacts being found on-site; though I've been unable to verify if this information is true. Through all the decades I've been rockhounding, I've only ever run across polish flint rough a handful of times; now its going to get even harder to find! Polish Flint is one of my personal favorites in the flint world, and the pictures of this stone show why!
