Description
Random Pull Madagascar Labradorite Rough that is Spectrolite Sized!
Madagascar Spectrolite is a form of High Grade Labradorite that is freeform cab sized that is often thumbnail to quarter sized chunks, often 0.5 to 1.5 inches. These small beauties can be great to stick right to a grinding wheel, put in a tumbler, or keep in a pocket as a charm! Each one has been hand selected to offer a brilliant flash, and there should be no waste in this material! Most color should run through the entire stone when turned to the right angle. Madagascar Labradorite is not a true spectrolite, true spectrolite is only Finland Labradorite, however, due to nearly the same chemical composition, spectrolite is a term that is sometimes applied to smaller chunks of Madagascar Labradorite.
Madagascar Labradorite is a well renowned stone for the stunning cabochons and other forms of art made with it! It is generally a very reliable but in high demand stone! These are all high grade chunks, and there is tons of profit to be made in each lbs for any lapidary artist!
All in this listing are random pull. Most are freeform cab sized rough, often smaller than a quarter but larger than a thumbnail (0.5-1.5 inches on average). One lbs is often 2-3 handfuls, or roughly somewhere between 15-25 freeform sized chunks. That's right, there is the potential to make 25 cabochons per pound of high quality labradorite!
The photos shown are a representation of what you may get and were selected from the random pull pile based on what quickly caught my eye. There should also be a photo present with a measuring tape, to help you get an idea of what sized to expect.
