Ochoco Tree Agate Slab – Unique Green Moss Pattern – No Longer Mined
This neat slab of tree agate from the Ochoco Mountains of Oregon features very unique moss in a neat chalcedony that makes this material stand out from others. This material is no longer mined, and to my knowledge the person who knew where it was, passed away.

Ochoco Tree Agate is a rare old stock material dug by the Quant Family in the rockhound-esteemed Ochoco Mountains of Oregon. Not much ever reached the market, but it was a stunning and unique green moss agate on a white background that captured collectors' attention. The material tended to cab nicely and would usually take a matte polish.
