Ochoco Sunset Jasper is an agate mined by Bill Quant in Oregon's Ochoco Mountains. It's a jasp-agate with considerable variety - it can have marcasite-like pattern, moss agate, fish egg patterns, and often features an attractive sunset-like scene with warm colors. It takes a quality polish, though some iron-heavy types may need treatment due to pits.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
Mined by the late Bill Quant, very little of this material ever reached the market, making a full flat rate a rare chance to work a memorial Oregon classic.
