The moss bed thundereggs are world-renowned for being among the finest moss thundereggs available anywhere. The material can feature blue agate, orange, green, red, purple, and more vibrant colors. It can also contain impressive tube druzy formations. The streamer moss is particularly popular and can be truly unique. These cut and polish exceptionally well for display and jewelry. The Priday moss bed was hard rock mining. Previously open for hand digging, this was demanding work in summer heat. The mine has since closed to public digging, making existing material particularly valuable to collectors.
