Morrisonite Jasper Rough – Bright Green and Blue Windows – Marked Down for Healed Fracture
This unique Morrisonite Jasper isn’t showing the best indication of what may be inside from the exterior. It does show a couple of good windows with bright green and blue, but it also shows a partially healed fracture that doesn’t appear to penetrate all the way through. Because of this, we have marked the price down significantly for budget-minded Morrisonite cutters.

Morrisonite Jasper was a rare old eastern Oregon classic orbicular jasper with exceptional quality. Morrisonite could come in multiple colors and often had orb-shaped structures within it, which created really impressive display slabs or remarkable cabochons. It was highly sought after, but after years of no mining, this jasper is very rare to come by today. Morrisonite is named after James Morrison from the Morrison ranch this material was mined on.
