Marcasite Plume Agate Slab - Black Plume with Blue Agate - Old Stock Mystery Material
This very neat slab of black marcasite features tons of plume action with blue agate and attractive druzy pockets throughout. The slab has exceptional cabbing potential, and with so many plumes it will produce some spectacular cabochons or a gorgeous display piece. This is an old stock slab from an old collection, and while the exact locality is uncertain, it appears to be an Oregon material with Carey Plume Rhyolite visible on the outside of one edge - suggesting this could be the rare black Carey Plume.
