Lucky Strike Thundereggs were originally found by an old-time rockhound, Leonard Kopcinski, who went by the name of Kop. Having grown up in Mitchell, Oregon, we were lucky to have gotten the privilege of growing up knowing him. Lucky Strike Thundereggs are recognized for their attractive mossy patterns, high rate of agate, and the potential for plume. They tend to take a quality polish and make remarkable display thundereggs once cut. They are mined in the Ochoco Mountains of Central Oregon.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
A fully prepared display specimen - no cutting, polishing, or finishing left to do. Carries the legacy of Leonard "Kop" Kopcinski, the rockhound who put the Lucky Strike Mine on the map.
