This stunning chunk of natural Hawkeye Tiger Eye carries stunning blue color that has not been achieved through heat treatment. This is an older chunk from some of the best Hawkeye material I had ever seen. It has nice flash with good variation in the flame patterns Hawkeye can have when natural.

Hawkeye Tiger Eye is a naturally blue form of tiger eye with flashy chatoyant characteristics. When turned slowly while wet or polished, you'll see an optical effect inside the stone that creates depth. It makes impressive cabochons, taking a quality polish and working fairly easily for jewelry makers. Hawkeye Tiger Eye is becoming increasingly difficult to find as sources deplete. The natural blue coloration is rare in tiger eye varieties, making this particularly valuable for collectors seeking complete tiger eye collections in different colors.
