Eagle Rock Plume Agate is a classic old stock material from Central Oregon near Prineville, representing important Oregon rockhounding history. Discovered in the 1940s by Shirley Quant, mining was delayed when someone else claimed it during his military service. The material features a variety of colors, well-defined moss agate, and red rhyolite that polishes nicely. Some pieces display multicolored moss that creates exceptional cabochons highly valued by collectors.
