This stunning box of Eagle Rock Plume Agate features high-grade multi-colored plume and marcasite throughout. At least five cutters show fantastic plume, and the rest are all spectacular material. This is the cream of the crop with some of the last legal-to-trade Eagle Rock, and certainly a box you will not want to miss. These came from the old Bill Quant collection and were mined by him back when his family owned the claim.

Eagle Rock Plume Agate is a classic old stock material from Central Oregon near Prineville, representing important Oregon rockhounding history. Discovered in the 1940s by Shirley Quant, the material features a variety of colors, well-defined moss agate, and red rhyolite that polishes nicely. Some pieces display multicolored moss that creates exceptional cabochons highly valued by collectors.
