Description
This is a display specimen of what is called Eagle Rock Angel Wing Crystal Druzy. It is a form of Druzy (Grape like agate) crystals on top of rhyolite. It can be a little delicate, but insanely beautiful! This is a pretty rare specimen!
Eagle Rock Plume Agate is an old oregon classic from Central Oregon near Prineville! This old stock classic was found in the 1940s by Shirley Quant, but it was many years later that it was mined, do to someone else claiming it while he served! It has a gorgeous variety of colors, well defined moss agate, some red rhyolite that takes a nice polish, and can also have some amazing multi-colored moss! When you get a good one, Eagle Rock is a personal favorite of mine to cut! Looking at it, its quite obvious how it built a solid name for itself!
