Blue Mountain Jasper is a well-known orbicular jasper from Oregon, recognized for decades as a Pacific Northwest classic. This material features blue-green jasper with lighter-colored orb patterns that create striking visual interest. Originally mined by Cop Kapensky who lived in Mitchell, Oregon, the deposit changed ownership after his passing, making earlier material particularly sought after by collectors.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL The blue-green body carries orbicular pattern that should open up further with a biscuit cut, plus red and orange coloration through the stone.
