Bamboo Jasper is a unique conglomerate jasper from Indonesia named for its striking resemblance to bamboo fossils. While not believed to contain actual fossil material, it does work into impressive cabochons with distinctive pattern types that can be rare within jasper varieties. Bamboo Jasper also sometimes goes by Bamboo Leaf Jasper.
