It has since become world famous, with the majority of the petrified forest this comes from now being a national park. This material however has been sourced by private land, which helps supply the modern market with this beautiful and stunning classic! Arizona Petrified Wood can have the occasional fracture, but the color and wood pattern usually make it well worth while to work around. It generally is fairly hard and takes a great polish.
