Apple Valley Agate is a material from the Sahara Desert that is collected by sheep herding nomads! This interesting agate comes with loads of variety, with just about every piece being unique! It can have pseudomorphic tubes, gorgeous moss with a huge range of colors, picturesque patterns, plumes, poppies, red, green, orange, blue, purple, and pink! It is one of my personal favorites to cut, and while hardness can differ from chunk to chunk, it generally takes a gorgeous polish and works into some designer grade cabochons!
Measurements (inches - longest - approx): 4.2 x 3.5 x .2
