Coconut Geodes, also known as Las Choyas Geodes or Mexican Coconut Geodes, are round volcanic geodes from Las Choyas in Chihuahua, Mexico. Named for their rough, husk-like exteriors, these are solid coconut geodes, meaning they are filled with agate or jasper rather than being hollow crystal pockets, and are often called nodules. They commonly carry beautiful blue agate inside and take an excellent polish once cut.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
The blue agate reaching the surface is uncommon in these solid nodules, giving a preview of the color inside.
