This stunning chunk of San Carlos shows bright red alongside a striking midnight smoky coloration, plus well-defined blue agate. The three-tone palette is uncommon for the deposit. A cool display piece as-is, or could be cut for nice slabs for cabochons.

San Carlos Agate is impressive moss agate from near San Carlos, Mexico. This is a somewhat newer discovery, with attractive rough just now hitting the market. So far, with our cutting, we've been greatly enjoying this stone, as it has some well-defined moss with attractive coloration creating beautiful patterns. It also appears it will take a nice polish.
