This neat San Carlos shows the darker agate complexion with brown tiger-stripe bar-like pattern running through the body. A different look from typical brightly colored San Carlos pieces. It would make a nice display piece or could be trimmed into solid cabbing slabs.

San Carlos Agate is impressive moss agate from near San Carlos, Mexico. This is a somewhat newer discovery, with attractive rough just now hitting the market. So far, with our cutting, we've been greatly enjoying this stone, as it has some well-defined moss with attractive coloration creating beautiful patterns. It also appears it will take a nice polish.
