This gorgeous San Carlos plate shows bright green moss across the main face with a darker complexion toward the back. Green is one of the less common colors for this Mexican moss agate. A clean cutter-grade plate ready for slabbing.

San Carlos Agate is impressive moss agate from near San Carlos, Mexico. This is a somewhat newer discovery, with attractive rough just now hitting the market. So far, with our cutting, we've been greatly enjoying this stone, as it has some well-defined moss with attractive coloration creating beautiful patterns. It also appears it will take a nice polish.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
Bright green moss is a less common color for San Carlos. The darker back complexion gives the piece visual depth on top of a clean cab-ready face.
