San Carlos Agate is impressive moss agate from near San Carlos, Mexico. This is a somewhat newer discovery, with attractive rough just now hitting the market. So far, with our cutting, we've been greatly enjoying this stone, as it has some well-defined moss with attractive coloration creating beautiful patterns. It also appears it will take a nice polish.

The butterscotch and blue color combination is uncommon for San Carlos and creates the kind of warm-cool contrast that defines premium cabochons. Dual-purpose as a cutter or display dome.
