San Carlos Agate is impressive moss agate from near San Carlos, Mexico. This is a somewhat newer discovery, with attractive rough just now hitting the market. So far, with our cutting, we've been greatly enjoying this stone, as it has some well-defined moss with attractive coloration creating beautiful patterns. It also appears it will take a nice polish.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
The orange moss appears uniform and high-grade from face to face, which is unusual for San Carlos. Plate form opens multiple finishing options for the same piece.
