Description
Brecciated Whisky Creek Jasper is a world-famous jasper mined by esteemed lapidarist Phillip Stephenson. It is a very gorgeous brecciated jasper from the Owhyee Mountains in Idaho. Whisky Creek Jasper is well known for both the brecciated type and the orbicular type, and this one shows a prime example of the gorgeous breccia pattern.
Brecciated Whisky Creek Jasper has tons of variety, with each chunk being pretty unique, which is a rarity in the Breccia world. It can have a mix of colors and combos, and sometimes, I've seen the breccia carry the rare orbed variety.
It is loads of fun to work with, and being a tough one to mine, it is incredibly hard to acquire. We love the creamy colors the brecciated whisky creek can produce.
