🌍 About Baltic Amber:
Baltic amber formed during the Eocene epoch (44–55 million years ago) from ancient forests that once covered areas surrounding the Baltic Sea. Today, it’s primarily found in regions such as Lithuania, Poland, and Russia’s Kaliningrad area. Over time, natural erosion brought these resin fossils to the surface or left them scattered along coastal shores.
What makes Baltic amber especially valuable is its exceptional clarity and ability to preserve prehistoric life. When plant resin trapped insects and other small organisms millions of years ago, it created a three-dimensional window into ancient ecosystems.

I do my best to represent the stones with photos. I don't enhance pictures, though sometimes brightness and contrast on monitors may differ. While an image may look just like the rock on my end, it will sometimes appear brighter or duller on your end. I run my monitor using the default brightness and contrast settings with HDR disabled.
