This is a very neat collector's old stock slab from the original Quant collection of Powell Butte Plume Agate, showing great plume and lots of well-defined, awesome moss. It still carries the original $10 price tag from their shop decades ago. This is a larger slab with some really neat cabbing potential, or it could make a really great display piece. It shows black plume, red plume, and what looks to be orange plume.

Powell Butte Plume Agate is an old Oregon classic plume agate from near Powell Butte, Oregon. This agate was recognized for its wildly interesting and unique moss and its potential for multi-colored plumes. It can often have larger pits, but these can be incorporated into a cab for a nice natural look. It tends to take a decent polish with work.
