Description
Polychrome Jasper also goes by the name of Desert Jasper. It is a nodular Jasper found in Madagascar. It has quickly become a popular variety due to its incredible hardness and the rarity of fractures. It takes a great polish! Due to how solid it tends to be, it makes great carving material. It can have a large mix of colors, and with Polychrome, you generally don't know what you'll get until you cut it. On rare occasion is can even have orb like structures or beautiful sunsets!
