This stone has been hand polished by lapidarycentral in the United States. It is polished on the main face. Please check the photos and video for a demonstration of the polishing. Stones can differ piece by piece, and some stones will only take a mirror polish, while others will take a matte polish.

About the Stone:
Leopard Skin Rhyolite is a depleted volcanic rhyolite formation that tends to be very solid and takes a great polish! It is well known for its oolitic like appearance of tiny orb like structures, and its blend of an interesting pattern and colors which form leopard print like patterns. This material is getting pretty hard to come by, and when you see it, you certainly don't want to pass it up! Leopard Skin Rhyolite tends to work up very well!
