Outback Jasper Cut and Proven – Sunset and Twilight Colorations – High-Grade Multi-Slab Block
This stunning cut and proven rough chunk is one of the most high-grade Outback Jasper blocks I have ever worked with. It carries the sunset colorations along with the twilight coloration and pattern the deposit was famous for. It looks pretty solid throughout and has plenty of room for multiple additional slabs.

Outback Jasper is a jasper from Western Australia that was a seam jasper located within banded chert layers. It's impressive picturesque jasper, often resembling dendritic jasper with tree-like patterns. It can have a color mix including green, black, brown, white, and even pink creating varied scenes. It typically takes a decent polish and is known to work into distinctive cabochons. It's a fairly unique jasper with few similar materials on the market. The miners recently indicated this material has been exhausted and will likely never be mined again, making existing pieces increasingly valuable.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
At nearly 9 pounds of confirmed high-grade material, this is a serious investment-grade block. The combination of sunset and twilight Outback colors is the premier color pairing for this now-exhausted Australian deposit.
