Random Pull Apple Valley Agate Specimen Rough!
Apple Valley Agate is collected by sheep herding nomads in the Sahara desert! It is one of my favorite agates to cut, due to its incredible variety and colorations, and its high silica content! It makes for some beautiful cabochons! Apple Valley Agate has a large array of variety, with most chunks being completely different than one another. With this in mind, we cannot do special requests on anything but size with this listing, but we have hand graded each chunk to be of great quality containing stunning natural beauty! Apple Valley can contain moss agate, plume agate, pseudomorph agate, fortification agate, tube agate, betrodial agate, and some can even contain quartz druzy or amethyst crystals, though crystals tend to be more rare.
Apple Valley makes great tumble rough, as it is a fairly hard stone, with most varieties able to take a mirror polish! These can be the perfect size for that, when you check out just leave a note with your desired sizes and we will do our best! These can also be great trimmers for cabbing slabs!
All in this listing are random pull. Most are trimmer sized chunks, often smaller than fist sized but larger than a quarter. One pound is often about a handful, and generally includes 1-5 chunks, but can sometimes be more or less. Photos shown are a representation on the grade. Due to being a natural stone, there can be some variation in the shade of color or minor defects, we have however sorted so each one is beautiful and stunning. If you do not specify, than we will do a random pull from available stock; with each one being stunning and beautiful!
These have all been sorted to have every single one hopefully be good quality workable material. No high grade has been removed from the random pull pile!
