Description
Confetti Agate is an extremely rare form of Agate that was mined before the 1960s in Mexico. Confetti Agate has been depleted for over 60 years, and no new material will ever hit the lapidary market again. It is a well-named stone with colorful bursts of confetti-like pseudo-plume structures. It can have drusy pockets, which add a new natural look to cabochons. With very few specimens being available online, confetti agate is one you will want to grab quickly. Confetti Agate is so rare that in all my years of rock collecting and hounding, I've only ever held two slabs in my hands, and this is one, and she is beautiful.
