Description
This is some old stock eagle rock plume agate from the original Quant Claim, which their family dug.
Eagle Rock Plume Agate is an old Oregon classic from Central Oregon near Prineville. This old stock classic was found in the 1940s by Shirley Quant, but many years later, it was mined due to someone else claiming it while he served. It has a gorgeous variety of colors, well-defined moss agate, some red rhyolite that takes a nice polish and can also have some fantastic multi-colored moss. When you get a good one, Eagle Rock is a personal favorite of mine to cut. Looking at it, it's quite apparent how it built a solid name for itself. This is a unique stone as it is both an igneous and sedimentary lapidary stone.
