Ochoco Sunset Agate is an agate mined by Bill Quant in Oregon's Ochoco Mountains. It is a jasp-agate with considerable variety - it can have marcasite-like pattern, moss agate, fish egg patterns, and often features an attractive sunset-like scene with warm colors. Sadly, the miner Bill Quant has passed away, making this material a memorial to his rockhounding legacy and contribution to Oregon lapidary history.
