Morrisonite Jasper is a rare old Eastern Oregon classic orbicular jasper with exceptional quality. Morrisonite comes in multiple colors and often has orb-shaped structures that create impressive display slabs and cabochons. It is named after James Morrison from the Morrison ranch where this material was mined. After years of no mining, this jasper is very rare today and represents one of the holy grails of Oregon jasper collecting.
