Morrisonite Jasper was a rare old eastern Oregon classic orbicular jasper with exceptional quality. Morrisonite could come in multiple colors and often had orb-shaped structures within it, which created really impressive display slabs or remarkable cabochons. It was highly sought after, but after years of no mining, this jasper is very rare to come by today. Morrisonite is named after James Morrison from the Morrison ranch this material was mined on.
