This stunning old stock, high-grade chunk of Wyoming Lysite, also known as Wyoming Blizzard Stone, shows sweet wavy lace agate and a gem blue botryoidal area with neat stalactite and stalagmite-like formations. It is a large, meaty piece with high-grade pattern running all the way through. You simply do not see ones like this anymore.

Lysite Agate also goes by the name of Wyoming Blizzard Stone. Lysite is found on Lysite Mountain in Wyoming. It’s formed in a layer of silica-rich volcanic ash and often features quite a bit of variety making each piece unique. Lysite Agate often has lace-like banding and cuts some quite nice cabochons.
