Kaleidoscope Jasper is a rare and visually diverse jasper from Oregon, known for its incredible range of colors, formations, and organic inclusions. Many varieties of Kaleidoscope are believed to be bog wood formations, often containing fossilized organic debris, including wood fragments and other plant material. With over a dozen known varieties discovered across different deposits, every Kaleidoscope stone is truly one-of-a-kind. Some varieties are more rhyolitic in texture and may contain natural pits or fractures, while others are highly silicated and take an excellent polish. The original mine was operated by Dale Rhode.
