Ghost Seam Agate is seam material from the Sahara Desert of Morocco, collected by nomadic shepherds and prized for its ethereal appearance. This agate features light blue coloration with interesting fortification patterns that create unique visual effects. When cut perpendicular to the seam (like a biscuit), it reveals cloudscape-like scenes. Cut parallel to the seam, it displays fortification that can resemble ghostly figures, giving this stone its distinctive name. The material takes a quality polish and sometimes contains druzy centers that add natural character to finished pieces.
