Ghost Seam Agate is seam material from the Sahara Desert of Morocco, collected by nomadic shepherds and prized for its ethereal appearance. This agate features light blue coloration with interesting fortification patterns that create unique visual effects. When cut perpendicular to the seam (like a biscuit), it reveals cloudscape-like scenes. Cut parallel to the seam, it displays fortification that can resemble ghostly figures, giving this stone its distinctive name.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
The spear-like white plumes with blue inclusions create dramatic contrast. Fractures are workable for accessing prime pattern areas in finished cabs.
