Brecciated Whisky Creek Jasper is a world famous jasper mined by esteemed lapidarist Phillip Stephenson. It is a very gorgeous brecciated jasper from the Owhyee Mountains in Idaho. Whisky Creek Jasper is well known for both the brecciated type and the orbicular type, and this one shows a prime example of the gorgeous breccia pattern!
Brecciated Whisky Creek Jasper has tons of variety, with each and every chunk being pretty unique; which is a rarity in the Breccia world! It can have a mix of colors and combos, and sometimes I've seen the breccia carry the more rare orbed variety!
It is loads of fun to work with, and being a tough one to mine, it is incredibly hard to aquire! We personally love the creamy display of colors the brecciated whisky creek can produce!
