This Blue Mountain Jasper shows half orbs running most of the way through the piece, with sunset coloration on one side. It looks like you could cut it a couple of different ways to bring out really nice orbicular pattern. A longtime Pacific Northwest favorite, this material takes an excellent polish.

Blue Mountain Jasper is a well-known orbicular jasper from Oregon, recognized for decades as a Pacific Northwest classic. This material features blue-green jasper with lighter-colored orb patterns that create striking visual interest. Originally mined by Cop Kapensky who lived in Mitchell, Oregon, the deposit changed ownership after his passing, making earlier material particularly sought after by collectors.
