Blue Mountain Jasper is a well-known orbicular jasper from Oregon, recognized for decades as a Pacific Northwest classic. This material features blue-green jasper with lighter-colored orb patterns that create striking visual interest. Originally mined by Cop Kapensky who lived in Mitchell, Oregon, the deposit changed ownership after his passing, making earlier material particularly sought after by collectors.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
The seller was told the white top fluoresces green, though this has not been tested. Cut on two sides with the orbicular pattern proven and room remaining to cut.
