This very rare old stock original dig Birdseye Rhyolite from Mexico is a huge cutter rough chunk showing bright lava red with purple and white orbicular polka-dot patterns, the structures that give the material its name. They appear to run all the way through, and while there are some defects and voids, most looks to cut up very nice. One of the last large old stock chunks from the original veins.

Birdseye Rhyolite is a volcanic rhyolite featuring attractive colorations and impressive orbicular eye-like patterns that give it its name. Mined in Mexico, the original deposits have reportedly been exhausted. Birdseye Rhyolite tends to be quite solid and takes an excellent polish.
