Biggs Picture Jasper comes from northern Oregon along the Columbia River near Biggs Junction, representing one of the most iconic picture jaspers available. The material often displays scenic valley patterns with dendrites resembling bushes or trees. Some specimens feature blues or purples adding depth to landscape scenes. It takes a quality polish and creates museum-worthy display pieces, considered the gold standard by which other picture jaspers are judged.
