Apple Valley Jasper comes from the same Sahara Desert location as Apple Valley Agate but is actually a fossil stromatolite, making it a fascinating specimen for fossil collectors. This stromatolite jasper commonly shows bright reds with distinct banding and can feature hematite flowers that create eye-catching cabochons.
